laurel hill lane repairs to begin monday

Residents who live on Laurel Hill Lane will get a nice Valentine’s Day surprise when temporary road repairs will begin! The POA has contracted for repairs to be made at the entrance of Laurel Hill Lane and Freeland Road as well as between the intersections of Barrow Place and Sunrise Way. Weather-permitting, the work should be completed by Thursday.

recycling center needs volunteers

The Recycling Center is looking for volunteers to be at the site while it is open during the following times:

Wednesdays from 10:00 - 1:00
or
Saturdays from 9:00 - 12:00

Volunteers will be rotated so the commitment will be once a month or less. If you are interested in this opportunity, please contact Nicole Pinson at 634-7505.

relay for life

Joe and Pam Malara are working with the American Cancer Society on Relay for Life event planned for April 29, 2011 at the West Feliciana Parish High School. Several Bluffs’ residents have expressed interest in forming a relay team for this event. Litter patrol

“Thanks!” is owed to Nicole Pinson for working with the West Feliciana Parish Sheriff’s Office to have the ugly trash bags picked up near the creek bridge on Freeland Road. Thank you, Nicole!
