The Design Review Board is defined in the C&Rs as a committee responsible for the review and approval of all plans, specifications and other materials related to construction and improvements proposed to residential property. The committee is also responsible for administering all C&Rs regarding architectural and landscape control. Our community refers to this board as the “Design Review Committee” (DRC).

While the C&Rs allow for as many as five members appointed by the Developer, the DRC is currently comprised of three members. Members need not be a Bluffs property owner; however, at least one member must be a licensed architect and one must be a representative of the Developer.

The architectural guidelines and controls administered by the DRC are designed not primarily to specify home size, but instead to require construction standards and to assure that every new residence or residential improvement will add to the value and appeal of our community.
